Goooulet!

I don’t know why I am so saddened by the passing of Robert Goulet, but I am. There’s a few reasons why it’s possible. For one, I have always been a fan of stage singers with huge personalities (i.e. Freddie Mercury, Tom Jones and Bob Goulet). He was a good sport and was always willing to have fun. He appeared on the Simpsons, was a big fan of Will Ferrel’s spoof of him on SNL and most recently, he was part of a major Nut campaign where he crawls all over the ceiling looking as spry as can be.

But another interesting thing about this situation is that his final live appearance was right here in Syracuse the day before he was hospitalized. You made dreams come true, Robert Goulet and we will not forget your talents.
